STRATEGY
Hagenbuch Casting has been a leading force in real people casting for over 10 years, and we’re just getting started! Recently, we were honored with a 2024 Show Award nomination for our PSA campaign, Stand Up to Yourself, created in partnership with the incredible Monica Lewinsky.
We’re all about finding those real, raw faces that tell the best stories. From student athletes at every level ranging from elementary to college, CDL-certified truck drivers in cities across the country, and even constitutional lawyers, we’ve got an eye for discovering one-of-a-kind talent.
Our secret sauce? A deep dive into the world of social media! We tap into platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to spread the word organically, while our dedicated research team connects with community leaders to make sure we find the best fit.
Beyond real people casting, we love working with actors and models for traditional casting
projects, both on-camera and voiceover. From comedic talent and dancers to unique beauty and everything in-between, we’ve got it all covered. Need help negotiating celebrity and/or public figure contracts? We do that too!

This campaign focused on collegiate athletes from schools within the Southern Athletic Conference. After an in-depth two-week search, our team interviewed over a thousand student-athletes for the project. Additionally, we sourced multi-generational families who were alumni of the same university, adding a unique and personal touch to the campaign.
Anti-Bullying PSA
Stand Up to Yourself - In partnership with Monica Lewinsky.
This PSA was looking for individuals with friends and/or family members based in NYC to participate in a filmed focus group as part of an Anti-Bullying PSA centered around negative self-talk. The vision for this spot was to capture emotionally motivated stories with a perception shift for the viewer to highlight how every choice we make is motivated by our internal self-talk. We reached out to the spoken word artists, youth debate clubs, people with disabilities, to find all these incredible humans to share their stories.
This was a labor of love and we were honored to get the opportunity to work on this project! Check out this clip of Monica Lewinsky on the Today Show – TODAY SHOW CLIP

These spots showcase talented youth basketball players, highlighting the excitement surrounding the upcoming McDonald’s All-American Games event, set for April 2025. Our team conducted an in-depth search across the Miami and Tampa areas, targeting youth basketball academies, camps, coaches, and local events. We also distributed the project flyer within these communities and across social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
